Swaggie Tales SWAGGIE TALES
– a vibrant, humorous look at the birth of Australia Bluey and Matilda lead the children through this zany history lesson that begins in Old England with a convict court case and covers the voyage to Australia, early settlement, the gold rush and the age of the swagman. The show features a didgerido demonstration, authentic Aussie bush instruments, brilliant costumes and is spiced with comedy, drama and song. Music and audience participation play a big part in the show and both live music and Billy’s fully sequenced baking tracks are incorporated in to the performance. In the bush band segment, a large band of eager musicians are assembled from the audience to play Lager-phone, Wobble board, clap sticks, spoons, wash board, cowbells and more! There is also a didgerido competition which sees the winner walk away with a fabulous championship certificate and medal. Billy James and Elizabeth Pecotich are both multi-talented performers and together they bring our history to life in an exciting, funny and memorable way.
