PIRATE TALE
– a rollicking, sea fairing adventure into the joy of reading. Join Captain Headbone and his trusty mate Kevin as they lead the children through an incredible adventure of music, comedy, magic, ventriloquism and audience participation. The show is filled with wonderful original and well known songs, fantastic bright costumes, incredible latex characters and lashings of slapstick fun and laughs a plenty! Lots of audience members get to join the Captain on his ship as he races to beat the infamous Blackbeard to the legendary treasure of Neptune. Along the way we meet Crikey the talking Croc, a cockney mermaid, a very regal wise-cracking lion, a talking book, King Neptune and of course Blackbeard the Pirate. In order to obtain pieces of the treasure map, The Captain and his faithful talking parrot with the help of the children must complete a set of tasks, which include, magic, juggling, cartooning, dancing and much more! This laugh out loud riotous romp is a favourite of teachers and students alike and is wonderfully bound together with a ‘joy of reading’ theme! A Pirate Tale is available in two versions - one for Primary Schools and one for Pre Schools. Please see below for the pricing and requirements for each of these shows. PRIMARY SCHOOL VERSION *Suitable - Preps, K to 6 *Cost - $4.40 per student ($4.00 + $0.40 GST) *Minimum audience size - 120 students *Times - The show runs 45-50 minutes. *Requirements - An indoor performing area approximately 5 metres wide by 4 metres deep. PRE SCHOOL VERSION *Cost - $300.00 + GST *Times - The show runs 40-45 minutes. *Requirements - An indoor performing area approximately 5 metres wide by 4 metres deep. |
